Tennova Healthcare Appoints New CEO at Lakeway Regional Hospital

KNOXVILLE, TN (June 14, 2018) – Tennova Healthcare has named Tammy White as chief executive officer/chief financial officer of Lakeway Regional Hospital, effective immediately. She had been serving in an interim CEO capacity since earlier this spring, though she has served as the hospital’s CFO since 2015.

“It has been a privilege to work with the talented physicians and caregivers at Lakeway Regional Hospital in this new capacity, and I am honored to be able to continue to do so,” White said. “Lakeway Regional Hospital is an important resource, providing quality healthcare services that impact the health and well-being of our community.”

White has more than 10 years of healthcare management and leadership experience. During her tenure with Lakeway Regional, she has improved key quality metrics by driving initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, increase employee engagement and empower leaders to improve the patient experience. White has also been instrumental in recruiting new primary care providers and physician specialists, providing needed access to important medical services in the community.

“Tammy has deep leadership experience and a strong connection to the healthcare needs of the Lakeway region,” said Dr. Michael Dillard, chief of staff at Lakeway Regional Hospital. “She will help us continue to build on the firm foundation of our hospital to deliver quality, compassionate care.”

White earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.
